The Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco) was founded in 1872 in Mornese, Italy by St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello. There are more than 14,000 Salesian Sisters in 93 countries engaged in various ministries for young people.
